Weekly-The Weekly Task Manager

Weekly is the ideal to-do task organizer for those who prefer to organize their lives week-by-week. Weekly is unique, as it only allows you to add tasks that are due within the next 7 days. This design makes tasks feel more manageable and eliminates the overwhelming feeling that many people get when looking at a traditional to-do list. Weekly was created to be a simple 7-day task manager and achieves this by eliminating the option to store long-term projects. This app can be used to enrich the lives of people of all ages and can be utilized in many different environments. Weekly can be utilized by students, parents, individuals, and families. Weekly is helpful in schools, at home, at work, and on the go!


Weekly Features:
• All Tasks View-The All Tasks View allows you to easily see all your tasks in one view. Pressing on each task cell will provide more information about the task, such as the name, due date, and any additional notes that were entered when creating the task.
• Today View-The Today View allows you to see only the tasks that are due today. Pressing on a task will provide the task name, due date, and associated notes.
• Weekly View-The Weekly View tab displays each day of the week as a button. Selecting a day of the week will display a view containing all the tasks that are due on the selected day. Pressing on any of the tasks will display the name, due date, and task notes.
• Completed View-The Complete View tab displays all the tasks that have been marked as “Completed”. This serves as an archive of every completed task. Like in the other tabs, selecting a specific task displays the name, date of the week on which it was due, and the additional info.
• Local Push Notifications-If you choose to enable push notifications, each day of the week (at various times), you will receive a push notification that contains a motivational message to encourage you to look and see what tasks you have due that day!
• Left and Right Slide Gestures-On each task, you can slide to the left or right to reveal the “Complete” or “Delete” button.
• Optimized for all device orientations-Weekly can be used either portrait or landscape mode
• Easily store your data, no save button needed! -After adding or completing a task, there is no need to save your changes, as the app automatically saves to your iOS device. After closing the app and reopening it, you will see that your tasks remain the same!

As a student, I had the idea of creating Weekly, as I like to organize and look at my assignments week-by-week. I have used other to-do list apps but wanted to create one to reflect my organizational methods.
